I'm Nick. I built David & Goliath because I couldn't find a clean shampoo that actually worked.
The big brands were full of sulfates and harsh stuff I didn't want on my scalp. The natural brands didn't lather, didn't clean, and left my hair feeling like hay. There had to be something in between.
So I started working on it. Bought bottles. Tried to formulate it myself in my kitchen for six months. Worked with chemists, tweaked, tested, ruined a lot of batches. Eventually realized I was in over my head and went to a real manufacturer to do it right.
About two years later, I've got a clean shampoo and conditioner I genuinely use every day and would recommend to anyone.
I'm still working a day job. I packed every order myself this year. I read every DM. We are still a small operation but we have something great.
